Cold Storage: David Koepp's horror novel will become a movie

The Paramount Pictures turn into a feature-length horror novel Cold Storage , written by what is probably most famous writer of our time, David Koepp . To direct the project will be Jonny Campbell , who recently created the dracula miniseries signed by BBC in collaboration with Netflix. Koepp himself will write the film adaptation of his book.

At the heart of Cold Storage's story is Roberto Diaz, sent by Pentane to investigate a possible biochemical attack. Once the agent arrives, however, he discovers that he is dealing with a mutant organism capable of destroying the whole of humanity. After being held back decades and hidden in the depths of a military base, the body managed to free itself and is very hungry ...

Over the years David Koepp wrote some of the most important contemporary blockbusters as Spider-Man in Sam Raimi , the first Mission: Impossible of Brian De Palma , Panic Room for David Fincher . He collaborated with Steven Spielberg writing Jurassic Park , The War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. If we wanted to choose the best David Koepp script, however, we would opt for what at the time proved to be a modest commercial success but over the years it has become an absolute cult and undoubtedly one of the best films of the 90s: we are talking about Carlito's Way , directed in 1993 also by De Palma. The protagonist is an Al Pacino in one of the best interpretations of his career. As a director Koepp has directed a remarkable horror film such as Echoes of Mortality with Kevin Bacon , based on the novel I am Helen Driscoll by Richard Matheson .
